A little about me
Hi, I’m Mike, a Sterling Grove neighbor with a lifelong appreciation for craftsmanship and care. My passion for upholstery began when I was a teenager, working alongside my dad at his upholstery business back home in Canada. We spent summers creating and restoring everything from patio cushions to automotive interiors and boat covers, and Sunbrella fabric was practically a household name in our workshop.
Today, I’m building on that early foundation to bring a personal, community-focused service to Sterling Grove. I started Solara Outdoor Living to help homeowners take pride and comfort in their outdoor spaces, not just when they’re new, but for years to come.
We invest a lot in our outdoor furniture, and yet there are very few local services dedicated to keeping that investment protected and enjoyable. I know firsthand how much time it takes to maintain patio cushions and umbrellas week after week, and how good it feels to simply walk outside, sit down, and enjoy a clean, fresh, and inviting space.
Our West Valley climate is beautiful but challenging, with dust and debris constantly settling on outdoor fabrics. Through Solara Outdoor Living, my goal is to help you preserve that fresh, ready-to-relax feeling all season long, so your backyard always feels like the retreat you envisioned when you chose to call Sterling Grove home.
